Croatian VHS Bullpup Assault Rifle and DISE Gear during Multi-National Training Exercise
U.S. Army Soldiers and Croatian Land Forces train together during Immediate Response 2012 training event being held in Slunj, Croatia. Immediate Response is a multinational tactical field exercise that involves more than 700 personnel from the U.S. Army Europe's 2nd Cavalry Regiment and Croatian land forces, with elements from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Slovenia. Macedonia and Serbia have brought observers. Here, soldiers are fitted with DISE, a system designed to indicate a hit with a laser fitted to a weapon. Croatian forces are equipped with the VHS Bullpup Assault rifle. US forces are equipped with M4's.
