Pétanque 2009: German Championships Triplette Hesse 1 vs. Bavaria 2
The German Championships Triplette 2009 were held in Kassel, in the park outside the Orangerie, a famous palace built in 1710 as a summer residence for the landgraves.
The match Hesse 1 vs. Bavaria 2 took place in the round of the last 32. Hesse 1 was the reigning triplette champion and included Klaus Mohr, Jörg Born and Mathias Uhl. Bavaria 2 was composed of two Nuremberg players, Patrick Fournier and Albin Raux. They were joined by Tita Vecile, the reigning German tireur vice champion, from Hof.
