"Get Rhythm" is a 1956 rockabilly song, written and recorded by Johnny Cash. The song is about optimism, centering on a shoeshine boy who "gets rhythm" (spends part of his pay at a jukebox, to hear music) to cope with the tedious nature of his job. It was Cash's first number one single on the country charts.
