Seven time GRAMMY winner John Mayer was honored Wednesday night by at the annual GRAMMYs on the Hill in support of his advocacy work for music education and support of veterans affairs. Other honorees included Rep. Howard Berman.

Mayer talked about the challenges that returning veterans face and why its an important issue to tackle, and then took the stage with blues legend Buddy Guy for a musical extravaganza.
