This song is a long time childhood memory song for me. The record was originally owned by my grandparents on my mothers side of family, and they not only enjoyed this 78 rpm record of Woody Woodpecker by Kay Kyser's Orchestra with Gloria Wood on vocals.

They also enjoyed watching the Woody Woodpecker cartoons created by Walter Lantz at the movie theater, shown a few minutes before main movie would start.
