Scratch built wheel, pedals and shifter.
The pedals are based on the design from the 'DIY pedal guide' from CST. This uses a load cell for the brake. I made my own Mjoy joystick interface and also a load cell interface for it.
The wheel is pretty basic other than a 2:1 ratio drive for the pot to give about 540 deg rotation of the wheel. Standard spring for centering and no FF.
Still need to make a nice cockpit with seat, this one keeps sliding back....
The shifter is my design for realistic feel. It clunks into each gear and also self-centers. The "H" pattern is in a plate on the bottom which also houses the microswitches for the actual shifting. The white bit on the bottom of the rod end is a cupped out teflon bush that falcrums on the body of the rod end for centering. The force supplied by the spring at the top which also puts force on the bearings on the ramps at the top.
