There's a scene in the film "In The Heat Of The Night" where diner counterman Ralph Henshaw (played by Anthony James) forces open the jukebox with a knife and selects this song. The director wanted to use "Little Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham & The Pharoahs for this scene, but wasn't able to - so he commissioned Quincy Jones to write a pastiche of it - "Foul Owl On The Prowl" was the result! It's become a bit of a cult hit in some circles - great fun to play. The original's in Em, but I growl it in Am... The song credits give "Boomer & Travis" as the performers - really Owens Boomer Castleman and Michael Martin Murphey.
