Efteling is a theme park near Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands. It's not too far from Rotterdam in South Holland where we are currently based. It is an amazing theme park, sort of like a European Disney World. It has some amazing rides like the python wooden roller coaster, monsieur cannibal, mirador, fata morgana and the Efteling teacups. It is particularly well known for the spookjebos, or enchanted forest, that features characters from fairy tales like sleeping beauty and Hansel and Gretel as well as Dutch characters like langnek (long neck), and the efteling draak (dragon). It also has animatronic garbage cans that say "papier hier" to encourage kids to put their garbage away. The Efteling now features a hotel, golf course and even a theatre.
