No Justice Guitar Solo using Suhr OD100, Suhr Modern and THD Hotplate
Here's a cover from a great Canadian band called Harem Scarem.
The backing track was created with help from Roy Nichol (drums) and Don Lecompte (bass).
I recorded the rhythm guitar and harmony solo prior to doing the video.
I used my very LOUD Suhr (CAA) OD100se+ head into a THD HotPlate set to LOAD...so it was silent recording, no speaker cab was used. I ran the signal into an Apogee Duet then into Logic Pro 9. I used several Redwirez IR's as inserts on the different guitar tracks. They were all Bogner UberKab IR's with R121 mics.
The Suhr Modern has Seymour Duncan Blackouts, AHB3 in the bridge and AHB1 in the neck.
The OD100's gain was set at 4, had I plugged in at the volume I had this set at I could have moved furniture.
