Kathakali is a famous dance from Kerala state (India). Mudras (hand gestures) are main art of communication. There are about 24 basic Mudras (hand gestures) This is combined in 'Asamyutha Mudras' (that is shown using single hand) and 'Samyutha Mudras' (mudras shown in double hands) in each Basic Mudras, Totally about 470 Mudras (hand gestures) are used in Kathakali.Basically anyone learning Kathakali is taught fitness training,music,painting and makeup,art of communication, dance. I really enjoyed making this video.
